Medical Directors

Jason Fromm, MD

Jason Fromm, MD serves as the School of Physician Assistant Studies Medical Director. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has experience in internal medicine and as a hospitalist, and is currently an assistant professor in the University of Florida College of Medicine Division of Internal Medicine. Since 2003, he has been the Medical Director of the UF School of Physician Assistant Studies. In this role, he provides program and curriculum guidance, gives invited lectures to both didactic and clinical year students, and precepts clinical year students.

 

Frank Genuardi, MD, MPH

Frank Genuardi, MD, MPH serves as the School of Physician Assistant Studies Associate Medical Director. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine, completed a residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine, then completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and received his MPH from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health. He is a diplomate of the American Board of the American Board of Pediatrics and of the Sub-board, Adolescent Medicine. In his current role, he is serves as Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Associate Professor of Pediatrics Director, and Pediatric Clerkship for the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. As Associate Medical Director for the UF School of Physician Assistant Studies, he provides program and curriculum guidance and oversees the clinical year students based in Jacksonville.
